On a whim my GF and I decided to rent a tomcat. We went rented a two seater from 7:30am-11:30am. My GF has the worst sense of direction and we DID NOT get lost once! This was great as we could go at our own pace, stop and take pictures when we wanted and speed though terrain for fun! This is like a real life Indiana Jones ride. We were cracking up the whole time! Make sure you get in Schnebly Road. Point and laugh at all the morons trying to drive in their passenger vehicles! The directions lead us to awe inspiring sights. Four hours was plenty of time, we saw everything we wanted to and more! We cannot wait to do this with our kids next summer!

We rented a two person Tomcar for four hours and did the ruins with a few other small trails. I wanted to extend the ride after four hours but we had another activity booked later in the day. A return trip will definitely include this again! Equipment was in great shape, staff was friendly and they included a cooler full of water. They gave us turn by turn directions in a picture book that came in very handy since the trails veer off and many of the roads look the same. You could take this at your own pace, slow if you like or fast and bumpy if you're seeking adventure. Ruins were pretty cool and this gives you access to trails you can't drive to in a regular car. If you like to hike, rent for the day and explore on your own. They are street legal so you can go where you want. Great fun, highly recommend it!

After reading some of the reviews we couldnt wait to get to Sedona and get out on the ATVs. We rented the four person tomcar and decided on the mild ride route to the Indian ruins since it was the first time out there and it was our first time on a ATV. After a quick review with one of the employess we were off on our tour. They give you a map telling you where to go on your route although we missed a marked sign once and went past our turn but that was half the fun going down unknown dirt trail (we did find our way back on track eventually after we realized our mistake.) Water is supplied by them but make sure you eat ahead of time or bring some sandwiches with you to eat. (we stopped at the local Subway as it is a four hour excursion, There are numerous photo opportunities on the route but dont dawdle as the four hours go quickly and you dont want to be late as there is a late charge if you dont return within the time limit. There are three other excursions to take and were looking forward to moving up to a wilder route next visit.
