My sister and I just returned from a 4 hour kayak experience through Paddles Outdoor Rentals and had an outstanding experience. The employees are friendly and helpful, the rental store is cute, clean and set up with all a customer might need, including free water and clean changing areas. The kayaks are new and very comfortable. We saw sooooo many manatees today - incredible!! Just lucked out. Great weather, great equipment, great people and awesome manatees. What more could you ask for!!! Highly recommend renting from this business!

Thank you SD for joining us and we are so glad you saw so many manatees. As we tell all customers, there is no guarantee and the water temperature determines whether or not the manatees come in for the day or not. Luckily for you it was a great day! Great experience! We arrived, they brought us right in to watch the video and right out the door for a shuttle drive to the launching spot. Launching spot was a beach and was fairly easy in and out of kayak. Quick to pick us up as well and we were on our way. Kayaks were nice as well and not at all tippy. We saw so many manatee in the canals near Three Sister Spring - we went to hidden springs and others on the map but no luck - it was also a little rougher in the open waters getting there. Next time we will stick with the canals.

Thank you so much for visiting with us and definitely in February the majority of the manatees hang around the Three Sisters Springs area and a couple of other areas. As far as being rough, yes, it does a little rough at times out in the bay if we have some windy days but like you said, that's why we decided to use the kayaks that we use. They are super stable and not easy to tip at all. Thanks again for your review and we hope to see you back again soon :)
