Guests will walk above the Park to see the original location of the Basin Park Spring that was used for healing during the 1880's. They will also see where the Spring is now in the basin of the Park.

Guests will walk up to the Flatiron Building and learn about the history of this iconic (and most photographed) location and the trick about it. Following that they walk up to where the first bank robbery using a vehicle was committed, stories about the three fires, and the history of the Prohibition Era in Downtown Eureka Springs. Venturing further down a secret set of steps that is also a platted street they learn about Carrie Nation who gave her last temperance speech before passing away in Kansas.

Dave, the tour guide--very knowledgeable, funny, articulate, lots of good stories. It rained in the middle of our tour, but Dave was still able to keep us together and reasonably dry.

Oh goodness, I wish we could control the weather, don't you! I'm glad that the guide was able to provide enough cover (he must have a VERY big umbrella or taught you to walk between raindrops) for the group. The guide provided a great walk through of Eureka Springs history! Wear good shoes and bring water… our weather was hot but we stopped in shaded areas the entire tour. He made it fun and interesting!

Dave was a fantastic guide and funny. This was a great way to learn about the downtown area. Take a bottle of water and wear good walking shoes. Whatever guided tour you take remember to tip they work hard and are very knowledgeable even if it is a couple of bucks, be kind.
