Utah was Magnificent! The hotel accommodations were excellent, and the restaurant recommendations were top notch. Kirk looked after the entire group and made sure everyone had an enjoyable experience. My mom and I had great time! The scenery at the parks and the trails were breathtaking! It is a photographer dream vacation. The tour exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Kirk, my mom and I highly recommend Southwest Adventure Tours especially if your guide is Kirk Douglas.

A great experience starts with a wonderful guide (Kurt). With some rain during the middle of the trip ... and snow at Bryce ... he did a wonderful job adjusting the timing of hikes to the weather. With a somewhat older group, he made great choices for hikes, was remarkably patient and always supportive and encouraging. With all the travel, the Mercedes Benz van with Captains' seats kept everyone comfortable. And from pick-up to drop-off, the guide was always right on schedule. The entire trip was well planned and exceptionally well executed. It would be hard to pick out a best experience as every day produced another highlight. But if I had to pick I would guess the opener (Arches) and the closer (Zion) were the most spectacular ... with our experience at Bryce hampered somewhat by the weather, but the morning snow was a special effect.

First of all, our tour guide, Dennis was wonderful! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the parks, and the history. He's actually from Moab Utah. He was an excellent and safe driver of the 12 passenger van; which was a very comfy and clean Mercedes Sprinter with great aircondtioning. Many of the meals are included in the price of the tour and every place we ate had high quality food, service and atmosphere. The lodging, which is also included, was always excellent and in a beautiful location within one of the parks. The parks are absolutely spectacular. No pictures or movies can possibly do them justice. The formations, the colors, the plants, all of it speaks to the Glory of God! Dennis is a wealth of information, and was able to answer almost every question I had. He is also down to earth, friendly and humorous. I highly recommend this company, this tour, and Dennis as your guide. If you've ever wanted to see the beautiful parks of the southwest take this tour. You'll be so glad you did!
