Visite à pied du mémorial du 11 septembre au World Trade Center et du quartier financier

Aperçu
Smaller-sized groups. Perfect for tourists AND locals wishing to learn more about the day that changed us all forever!

Your 2.5 hr, 1.4 mi. (2.25 km) walking tour will be led by a expert, local, licensed Guide. Tour begins in Battery Park and concludes at Ground Zero site; location of the hauntingly beautiful memorial pools in the footprints of the former, iconic WTC Twin Towers.

This comprehensive tour explores 9/11 and the World Trade Center and also New York's famed Financial District. You'll be captivated with stories of 9/11’s unsung heroes (some personal stories) and their selfless acts of courage. These stories will be coupled with comprehensive discussion that details aspects of the former Twin Towers from its origin to its infamy of becoming Ground Zero, to the rebuilding and rebirth of the majestic World Trade Center complex, once again. You’ll gain important knowledge, insight and perspective into what it was like living through the terrorist attacks and it's aftermath.

Debbi M did an amazing job and gave a lot of great information to 5 people including 3 mildly interested and very cold teenagers. Her insight and personal stories of 911 will not be forgotten. She was thorough and attentive to our tight tourist schedule. That was much appreciated. I would love to give her 5 stars and the tour 2 stars but since I can’t separate the 2, I wouldn’t and couldn’t give Debbi anything lower than a 5. The reason I’m suggesting a lower score is because of the masks. We were the only tour(out of many) wearing masks. Why! Why! Why! We were outside the entire time except for a quick visit in oculus. This is not communist China and it’s post pandemic. I will not book another tour with “My NY Tours.” Masks should be a personal decision and not a requirement.

Thank you so much, for taking a moment to review your tour. We are very pleased to know that you enjoyed the knowledge and expertise of your guide. With regard to your comments concerning masking and a "post-pandemic" situation, we must respectfully disagree. Neither the Center for Disease Control (CDC) nor the World Health Organization (WHO) have yet to declare that the the pandemic is over. For your edification you can read more about the current pandemic status in numerous places found on the internet. One such article, at https://news.yahoo.com/think-pandemic-over-may-part-213835127.html, states this: "...this year’s holiday season, coupled with the resurgence of other respiratory germs, is threatening that progress. And so the pandemic rages on. Just last week, the CDC recommended that people wear masks again to protect themselves against COVID and other respiratory viruses. The US Department of Health and Human Services also renewed the public health emergency declaration for COVID in October for the 11th time since the pandemic began. (It’s set to expire in January but could be renewed again.) In some parts of the country, including New York City, Los Angeles, and Oregon, public health experts recently urged people to start wearing masks again indoors and on mass transit." At My NY Tours, we have an obligation to both our Guides and Guests to keep them as safe as possible, while in our care. This applies even in outdoor public spaces due to extensive crowds driven by a resurgence in tourism. Just because many folks are no longer fearful of contracting COVID does not mean that this brutal pandemic is over. Many individuals no longer bother to receive updated vaccines nor to even test themselves, anymore. This can present a potentially dangerous situation for someone which may suffer from a weakened immune system, whether they be a tour Guest or one of our Guides. We're not doctors here, however, it's scientific fact that droplets expelled by infected individuals who are sneezing, coughing, talking and laughing can still be transmitted to others who cross their path. We are quite disappointed that you would want to negatively score of our caring and protective policy (which, by the way, you were made aware of when you booked your tour) rather than solely focusing your rating based upon on the overall quality of your touring experience. Also, masking is not something that is politically motivated; at least not to us. We plan to continue our safeguarding policy to protect our Guides and Guests until the WHO declares that the COVID-19 pandemic has become endemic, and be will continue to put safety over company profits, always. In closing, the family of My NY Tours will like to extend our heartfelt wishes to you and your family for a most delightful holiday season and for a New Year that is filled with great health, great friends, fun times, abundant laughter, prosperity and always, love. Happiest Holidays and All Our Best!

We had an absolutely incredible Experience with Debbie Mason. The others who had signed up with us for the tour canceled so we ended up with a private tour with Debbie for 3 hrs. She is so incredibly knowledgeable about the area and she was a pure delight. Plus, she is a professional photographer and was more than willing to take our photos and more over to recommend the perfect places to grab the photos! I Will keep her contact information for our future trips to New York. I highly, highly recommend Debbie!

Debbie, our tour guide, was fabulous. She was very knowledgeable, extremely enthusiastic, and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. She even took us on a couple small detours so we could see a few notable things (like Alexander Hamilton's grave at Trinity Church) that had just reopened to tourists. We absolutely loved the entire experience. As a bonus, she is a great photographer and took a picture of my son and I that I will treasure forever.

We are thrilled to know just how much you enjoyed your experience and we thank you for taking a moment to provide your feedback. Our goal has always been to provide 5-star experiences for our Guests. Reviews are an important tool for us to gauge how we're doing. We're glad to know that we've achieved that goal, yet again! As My NY Tours emerges from this awful COVID-19 pandemic, we anticipate a continued expansion of our NYC tour experiences. That said, we would love to serve you again and are hopeful that you will consider us on a future visit to the "Big Apple". Thank you for joining us on this tour. All the best to you and yours!
