We had Captain Jaime, who was cheerful and entertaining as well as very knowledgeable about the swamp. Even though it was cold and windy, he kept us entertained and we saw turtles, little alligators, herons and an eagle.

We had captain Chad! He was so nice and funny really made us all feel safe and in good hands. Really knowledgable too. The tour was incredible. We didn’t know what to expect as we are from England and have never been on anything like it before. It was so beautiful out on the bayou swamps - we saw loads of gators all different sizes and got really close to a few. It was exciting. We got to ask loads of questions about them and it was really interesting. We saw eagles flying ahead and lots of other swamp animals. We took the smaller boat and felt it was a more personal experience than the bigger boat as they only have 3 seats per row and 9 in total. It was very windy due to the speed the boats travel at through the swamps at times. Take a waterproof incase it rains as you have no shelter. They given you ear muffs for the noise of the motor. We came off buzzing and really excited we took some cool pictures and videos. Every time the guide spotted something he stopped so we could all take a look and get pics. Just keep tight hold of your phone. You don’t get wet if it’s not raining so I was pleased as I expected to get splashed. We would highly recommend this, there were people of all ages on our tour. Such an amazing tour.
