Very informative and a good way to get acquainted with Atlanta. Highly recommend doing your first day in town

Our first rule of travel is to always take a tour of a new city on the first day in town. Atlanta was no exception. The Peachtree Trolley is a great way to learn your way around Atlanta. The 90-minute tour takes you thru the wide variety of neighborhoods making up the sprawling city of Atlanta. Steve, our guide, was quite informative and very entertaining, including an Atlanta/Georgia based music quiz given during a transition from one locale to another. Atlanta covers a surprising large area with business and shopping districts in the Downtown, MIdtown and Buckhead parts of town. The various residential areas and interesting tourist sites (MLK National Historic Park, Carter LIbrary, Oakland Cemetery, shopping and dining) were all covered. If you intend to visit the city for the first time, you can't go wrong taking the Peachtree Trolley tour on Day One.

On this tour we saw many sites around the city of Atlanta. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about everything we saw. I would recommend this tour.
