This is not a cave tour. This is a just a tour of La Jolla that unfortunately doesn’t work. There was no service down there. Didn’t even get to download the app, the family next to us had it on speaker and two minutes into it it said” thanks for enjoying the tour” very disappointed.

We’re sorry you weren’t able to use the tour Maria-linda, but it isn’t intended as a cave tour and we’d really appreciate it if you could let us know how you got the impression it is one. This will help us to change the content here to make sure nobody else starts off with the wrong impression. (If you take a look at the tour description, you’ll see that it says, “Take in the feel, allure and romance of this Southern Californian coastal paradise as you stroll the streets of the downtown village of La Jolla with this self-guided GPS tour.“) It’s also a little unfair to say that the tour “doesn’t work”. It does, and the numerous five-star reviews here and internally, within VoiceMap, are evidence of this. But you don’t normally get signal in a cave and we’re guessing this is why you couldn’t download the tour. Is this correct? The tour starts on Prospect Street in front of Eddie V’s restaurant and we recommend downloading the tour before you leave for the starting point. We’ve included this advice on the ticket, under Please Also Note.

I had the pleasure of enjoying this audio tour over the holidays and thoroughly enjoyed it every step of the way! There is so much history and natural beauty in the area and what a treat to have it told to you by a La Jolla native! If you're in the San Diego area and looking to take in the beauty of the shore and a little history then this is a great option.
