Imagined Hawaii lei/shell necklace on entrance with flower more personable and authentic Hawaiian hospitality culture compared to Luau we experienced in Honolulu back in 2004. Really enjoyed the show and the back drop of the ocean very beautiful! Food was delicious but serving buffet experience would have been more personable with someone actually serving from behind the buffet adds more personability! Waiters were only tending to people who looked foreign ??? Maybe ??? Received very little eye contact or conversation ….even being served drinks. Banquet tables gave the night a more picnic feel would have been nicer to have round tables more classy and for the price point of each table ……despite being a buffet set up would have definitely changed the experience . Scenic points for pictures were amazing and memorable. Picture on entrance was a nice touch…..price point was bit steep for quality and really should have been included in price but we bought it anyway …..so just a. Few points …..beautiful display of culture through dance and story telling…presentation needs a bit more work to justify the price.

the entertainment was excellent and the location was very convenient. The food was good and buffet style. Drinks were flowing but my only complaint is that if I am going to go to a luau, I want it to be more authentic. I want to see them cooking the pig in the ground, and then removing it. So this was a little bit to commercial for me.

The sun was very strong and it was hard to see the dancers, the sun was behind the stage. if they could started one hour later. the sun wouldn't hit our eyes. The other luau at outrigger resort is nicer. Food was ok, not worth the price.
