The show was awesome, and the food was okay, but watch the forecast and be prepared for the weather.
We called early in the day to ask if despite the rain forecast, was the show still going to happen - they said yes. Silly us, we should have known better. We arrived early and the show started 15 minutes late. It was “supposed” to be first come first serve in open seating but I came to find out they had all of the best tables reserved, what BS.
When we got there it was blue skies, but it quickly turned gray and before you knew it, it started to rain!
People were sitting around like, what the F. It wasn’t till about 5 minutes later that they finally started handing out rain ponchos. They should have at a minimum handed these out at the entrance.
Sadly, People sat in the rain and ate their soggy food, MAJOR disappointment. This was a complete failure to plan on their part as if rain has never happened before. Their slow reaction in handing out rain ponchos as it poured down on us was also another major disappointment.
Over all the experience was still worth it, just be prepared.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! We are so sorry to read that your luau was interrupted by the rain. Being a tropical island, rain can come and go therefore we do try to go on with the show whenever possible. When there is a torrential downpour, we do cancel the show and offer a full refund to our guests. The luau offers two ticket options as seen on our website. The first is VIP seating, which offers front section seating with additional perks. The second is general seating, which is behind VIP and based on first come first serve. We are very sorry that you were unaware of the seating differences, however this is all available on our website. We are so sorry that your experience was impacted by the weather and your seating and should you return we would be happy to welcome you back for an improved and hopefully drier experience.
