Boat ride was relaxing and scenic. Saw a lot of alligators and appreciated how the tour was a learning experience about Louisiana and the swamps but didn't feel too showy.

Set in the swamps of Metairie about 30 min from the French Quarter. Tour picked us up very close to our hotel for an additional charge, but worth the cost. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about ecosystem and its inhabitants. Saw several alligators despite the 60 degree weather. Air boat was fun- we opted for the large boat but it’s still an intimate experience. Guide was a seasoned airboat captain. Felt safe the entire time. If you go in winter months be sure to bring a jacket because whipping around the swamp gets chilly. Overall fun time and one of the better tours we took while visiting New Orleans. Good for families, couples etc Main building where you check in has snacks, T shirts and other unique gifts for sale at decent prices. Clean bathrooms. Super friendly staff
