Alaska Wildlife Waterfall Tours

Katlyn Is the Guide/Driver she is a lifelong Ketchikan Resident. She will Pick up in a Blue high top 13 Passenger Transit Van. Upon Pick up you will be offered water, pretzels, and small candy (these will also be available at each stop). Katlyn will provide a short city tour as she takes you to Herring Cove for the chance to see the local wildlife (Black Bear, Deer, Eagles, whales, seals, and Salmon). There will be between 30-45 minutes to capture pictures and ask questions about the wildlife. The next stop will be the Waterfall for pictures and a chance to check out some rain forest. Our last stop is Rotary beach to look for starfish, crab, and sea anemone. (This beach is rocky). Room For wheel chair to be stored in the back of the van. Waterproof shoes are highly recommended.

Wonderful local guide, believe me it makes all the difference. Finding unique spots to see the wildlife of Ketchikan. A walk on the seashore, lots of starfish, sea anemone.

This was such an incredible tour! Katlyn was extremely knowledgeable in the history and fun facts of Ketchikan and the wildlife. We saw bears, seals, and other marine life at the beach. The waterfall was breathtaking and a great photo op! There are opportunities to get right next to the waterfall - waterproof hiking boots were a big help. I’m so glad we booked this tour outside of our NCL cruise. With Norwegian docking 7 miles from town and having the last shuttle pick up at 11am, we were able to check out the town before the 10:30am tour, and still make it back to the cruise at Ward Cove before call time, as this tour offers Ward Cove drop off. Had we booked a different tour, we would’ve missed seeing the town altogether. This truly was the perfect Ketchikan tour - highly recommend!

I was very impressed by how the owner operator thought of every detail from snacks to phone chargers even prior to departing. Next, it was very nice to have a third generation Alaskan tour guide instead of a seasonal worker here for a season. We were able to see a bear, a seal, a star fish and a bald eagle on a very short excursion.
