Nous proposons de l'eau froide en bouteille, des collations légères, des ponchos pour ces douches ponctuelles, nous passons des articles pour montrer comment nous avons commencé et continuons à vivre ici.

Il y a un écran à l'avant du bus pour montrer à quoi ressemblaient certains sites dans les années 1800.

Menemsha is one of the oldest still-working fishing villages in New England. Menemsha is also one of the most beautiful places on the East Coast to watch the sunset on the water. Parts of the film JAWS was filmed here along with Quint's shack.

East Chop Lighthouse

We stop here to tell the history of the East Chop Light. Many get married at this location and Telegraph Tower was in this spot.

Our driver provided a great deal of information about the island and its history. He took us to several landmarks and past homes of people that lived there currently, as well as former residents. He took time to explain each town we were visiting and the importance of the town, in addition to the features of the town.

The tour guide spent a lot of time talking about his family and friends. He shared a lot of information about the island but little information about what we were seeing. We passed many things that looked of interest but whizzed by with no mention of where we were or what we were passing. I could have rented a car and driven around the island myself.

Our favorite part of the tour was the stop at Menemsha, standing by the water where part of Jaws was filmed, and enjoying the best fish sandwich EVER! Our stop at Aquinnah cliffs was beautiful and we enjoyed the history of the place. My adult son and daughter and I enjoyed every minute of the tour, and our tour guide was great! I highly recommend this tour—well worth the money!
