Nous proposons de l'eau froide en bouteille, des collations légères, des ponchos pour ces douches ponctuelles, nous passons des articles pour montrer comment nous avons commencé et continuons à vivre ici.

Il y a un écran à l'avant du bus pour montrer à quoi ressemblaient certains sites dans les années 1800.

Menemsha is one of the oldest still-working fishing villages in New England. Menemsha is also one of the most beautiful places on the East Coast to watch the sunset on the water. Parts of the film JAWS was filmed here along with Quint's shack.

East Chop Lighthouse

We stop here to tell the history of the East Chop Light. Many get married at this location and Telegraph Tower was in this spot.

The tour was nothing that I thought it would be. I thought that I would be able to stop and look at the gingerbread houses, ink well, and other places on the island. We did not get to see any of the accomplishments of the people or their homes sights who were the original people of the island. We drove past homes of people who came and took control of the island, their homes and was told of the stories of their lives. I was driven so quickly past all the places of interest to me that I was not able to take a picture through the window of these places. We stopped at John Belushi’s graveside, seriously! I thought some of what was said by the tour guide/driver was a little interesting. Please understand that I am grateful for the tours but this tour was very disappointing.

We really enjoyed our tour. I learned some interesting facts about Martha’s Vineyard. I loved that we got to see so many parts of the Island. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable. We appreciated the cold water as we toured on a very hot day. I recommend Homegrown Tours!
