Balade en pleine nature alpine sur un Segway X2

There is just nothing as unique and fun as riding a Segway. Easy to ride even for someone who has never ridden before.

The balloon tires of the X2 are perfect for the gravel trail and provide a cushioned ride. Guests will enjoy cruising along through tall stands of Sitka Spruce and Hemlock. Glide through serene alpine meadows studded with ponds of lilies all in the shadow of snow-capped peaks.

Our guide will provide interesting facts and details about the flora and fauna that are unique to Alaska. Several short stops for photos and to walk around are provided. The halfway point of the tour brings guests to breathtaking Fish Creek and it’s crystal clear, snow melt waters.

A short 10-minute walk along the Historic Treadwell Ditch gives guests a chance to see the old-growth Tongass Rainforest in all of its pristine beauty and learn about Juneau. The guides will then share a locally sourced snack with the group.

Should have good balance and be able to stand for 2 hours.
For ages 14-70 (anyone over 70 should call to do a balance test)

Should be able to balance on one foot while looking down at the foot raised in the air or 10 seconds

This was amazing!!!! Worth every second! It was easy to get the hang of (even my mom and dad who are in their late 60’s had no problems. The views were breath taking and the only problem was that i could have stayed out there all day. Ruben and Ben were awesome and I actually learned a lot on this tour about the land and history of Alaska.. he also gave many recommendations where to go from restaurants to places to visit. Absolutely do this tour!!! Oh! And we got to pick and eat blueberries and they had a surprise in the middle of the tour! (Don’t want to ruin it!!!!)

We did the alpine Segway tour. Having done many city Segway tours, I was a little nervous going in the wilderness on a Segway. I have to say, it was the best Segway tour we’ve ever done. Our guides were so helpful and got us really relaxed and confident in maneuvering the Segways over the more uneven terrain. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous with awesome Mountain Views, lush forests and noisy cascading streams. Our guides were so informative about all the native plants and wildlife we encountered along the trail. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore the beautiful temperate rainforest away from the crowds of Juneau while enjoying the fun of a Segway. If we return to Juneau in the future, we will take this tour again.
