Amish Experience offers several different tours: Homestead and school house, a Farmlands Tour and Visit in Person (VIP). We wanted to do VIP but it is an evening tour and didn't work with our schedule, so we took a Farmlands Tour. This a 90 minute, driver-narrated tour of Amish farms. Doesn't sound exciting, but actually interesting and very educational. Even the kids were all ears for the duration. You drive around the farms and see how the Amish live and work while the driver describes their life and customs. We saw a farmer working the fields, house being built, many different farm animals, even camels on one farm(!), kids playing. You would see something different on every tour. There was one stop at an Amish business. If you are interested in how the Amish live, this was a very nice introduction.
