It was a great way to see some of the highlights of the city, especially if you are only going to be in the city for one day. Our guide, Donna McCarrey, was excellent! She shared a lot of interesting and fun facts with us during the tour and was excited while doing it. It seems like she really loves her job. The only stop that I was a little disappointed in was Earthquake Park. The pictures that we originally saw advertised when we booked the tour a few months ago made it seem like there were leftover remnants of the earthquake that we would see, like cars turned over, the ground torn up, etc. All that we saw at this stop was a walk through some woods to show how the waves from the earthquake caused the ground to shift. It was neat to see and would have been fine had we not been expecting something else. Otherwise, Donna was great and the tour was worthwhile.

We were given a great comprehensive tour of the highlights of Anchorage. Our favorites were the visit and explanation of Earthquake Park, the statue of a sled dog that is the starting point for the Iditarod Race and the viewing up close of sea planes and hearing about the crazy 20 year wait to get a slip.

Great tour! We loved it. We saw earthquake park, and black spruce trees. Very good tour. We loved it.
