Our tour guide Miquel was absolutely amazing. Our private tour to Antelope Canyon could not have been any better without him.

Life long memory made seeing Antelope Canyon and Grand Canyon. Marc, a long time experienced and knowledgeable Sedona resident safely drove us. Due to a serious traffic incident, we were delayed an hour so we pivoted plans, omitting the Horseshoe Bend stop, adding Grand Canyon stop after the planned noon Antelope viewing. Marc picked us up in a polished Land Rover at 6:45 am at our hotel lobby. He was friendly, welcoming and made the day all about us. Telling us it was our car for the day with restroom stops and lunch in a trusted diner. . He was very engaging, shared incredible local stories that made the time pass while driving. We told him he should write a book. We were dropped off at a meeting area for the Antelope tour. The Navajo guide was very organized with our group that rode in a large van to the canyon. On the way, she gave instructions for phone camera settings to best capture the incredible images. She efficiently took pictures of us at the most desired areas in the canyon and prompting us where to take photos . Grand Canyon - was more even impressive than expected. When we took pictures they looked fake, edited shots that are only seen in books! Blew us away! Marc got us safely back to our hotel while driving in unexpected snow on the windy roads. Thanks to Marc for his friendly, easy going nature. The day was beyond incredible.

The ratio of time spent driving there and back versus time spent at the sites was about 3:1. Usually this would be enough to put me off completely. However, in the case of Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon the journey to get there was well worth it. These are truly exceptional places to experience (plus the Mexican place we went for lunch was great). One extra benefit was our guide's guidance on places for coffee and restaurants in Sedona, but I won't say where, you'll need to talk to him yourself. :-)
