The trip was excellent! Charlie was our guide for the day and he was full of information and facts about the areas we visited and gave suggestions of other things to see and do while in the area. He did a great job! I would highly recommend the tour!

We enjoyed the perfect day traveling to Page, AZ. Our guide made us feel safe in travel and made stops for us to stretch and use the bathrooms. She also shared her knowledge of the area and places to hike and eat. Our Navajo guide was an extra bonus. He not only gave us our canyon tour but showed us how to get some good pictures using our VIVID setting on our phones, which most of us didn't know existed. We had a delicious lunch at Glen Canyon Dam and spent the day with 6 others from Florida, Costa Rica, Nashville... and our own Wisconsin roots. A great adventure!

The trip was really solid. Katherine came to pick us up and was there on time. We picked up three other pairs then off on the drive. Be prepared - you spend A LOT of time in the van. There is a stop for coffee, then a stop at a Trading Post once you are on the Reservation.

Horseshoe Bend is enormous and the pictures will not do it justice. There are no railings and the the views are simply amazing.

From there it is on the the Glen Canyon Dam - lunch was solid and the location was nice. Katherine was a great host and was describing tons of stuff as we made our way.

Then you pull in to the town of Page, and meet up with the other guide service. The transport is a big pick up with bench seats in the back. Short drive over to the site the last portion of which is through a long sand ravine. I was expecting a hike or short walk - nope - the guide trucks pull in right next to the entrance.

Leonard was our guide at that point and he is the only guide you want to go with. He has several you tube videos and added a lot to the experience. He was able to help with the phone camera settings and got it to do things I did not know it could!! The pics were simply beyond description. Bear in mind they allow several groups through at a time. They do a decent job managing it, but this is not a solitary experience.

The ride back takes about three hours - Katherine made sure there were a couple of comfort stops but just be prepared for the ride. All in all a solid day and well worth the price. It is customary to tip so come prepared to take care of both guides if you enjoyed the experience.
