This trip was well worth the early wake up and almost 5 hour bus ride. Horseshoe bend was more impressive than I thought it would be and an easy walk to the viewing point. Antelope X was absolutely amazing. It almost looks fake...it is that incredible. Our tour guide was great in helping us get some really cool pics today and we had plenty of time to explore. We went in early October and the weather was perfect! I can't wait to go back and see the upper and lower some day. Our bus "tour guide" could have used a lesson in politeness probably. I understand there are strict time restraints but the way she portrayed this throughout the trip made us feel we were being admonished by a grade school teacher. She lacked any enthusiasm and sounded as if she was just reading a paper as we went. I mean it wasn't a deal breaker but just lacking for sure. The antelope canyon tour guide was terrific. He made the tour easy going, friendly and entertaining.

Wanted to give more stars to the Antelope Canyon local tour guy and the bus driver but because this review is for everything, I gave 1 star. First of all, bus came late. Check in time was 5:45AM, no one was there to check in. 2nd, I felt that the tour guy didn't have deep knowledge of history. I think he was just repeating what he memorized. (I wonder if tour guys in United States have to earn tour guide permits like in Europe. So that they dont give out wrong history or wrong informations.) And he was very obsessed with this cop who gave him a speeding ticket, perhaps too much obsession. 3rd, lunch was horrible. 4th, we were so rushed that we didn't have enough time to look around the Horseshoe Bend. The tour guy said he would give us 50 mins, but by the time bus stopped we had less than 45 mins to walk all the way to Horseshoe Bend and come back to parking lot. Antelope Canyon tour guy was great. Bus driver was great! I don't recommend this tour because everything was so rushed, no time to enjoy and observe the beautiful nature.
