Cross the Arctic Circle and receive an official Arctic Circle Adventure Certificate.

NOTE - each tour is unique with our ever changing daylight. Depending on when you are traveling it is important your day may be more "night" then day light".

NOTE - this is not an Aurora tour. While yes it will be dark on the return to Fairbanks, the tour does not stay out later, longer waiting for the aurora . Guests should consider taking an Aurora Adventure if they are wanting to look for the Aurora. We also offer an Arctic Circle Aurora Drive Adventure.

Longest time between stops is 2 hours; however, some stops will be closer. Most stops have an outhouse.

Arctic circle tours are offered by a few companies from Fairbanks, but Northern Alaska Travel company stands above them all. I could see how experienced, reputable and respected they were throughout our arctic circle drive. And they have been in the game for a while now! So, they know their ins and outs. And they put customers and their safety first always. The drivers are so experienced and knowledgeable that not only do you feel utterly satisfied because by the time you finished your tour, you would really feel like you have covered everything but also you get to know a lot about Alaska in general. Our driver and guide Mike was the most safest and nicest driver I have ever seen! He handled those bumpy gravel roads so extremely well while giving us A-Z insights into the history of Alaska, arctic circle, other regions in Alaska, and all other aspects like aurora, wildlife etc. He is like an encyclopedia! And he took care of each of us at every stop very well and brought us back safely leaving us with an amazing experience and of course a cool certificate that we set afoot in the arctic circle! It is definitely a long ride (16 hours), so be prepared to carry food water etc. If you have neck or back problems, it may be a bit daunting. If you do decide to go, you almost through out will not have any mobile network, the drive is pretty remote. But it is all worth it! May be, carry a travel pillow. The drivers maintain a safe speed limit so it is always steady and nice. Special shout out: Thank you once again, Mike and the team who helped us track and get our phone that we lost in the tour van near arctic circle. What a great team! Thank you guys. We appreciate it!

My most memorable part of the adventure was getting to know my tour guide (Tim) which is very knowledgeable about Alaska and it's wildlife and wilderness. He explained everything well. More of my adventures, I enjoyed the respect of the truck drivers down the Dalton highway. I'm from South Coast of Mississippi and we don't see any thing like this. The trees covered with snow and the roads over come with ice. It was a wonderful and magical experience. Would do it again. Thank you to all the tour guides for the experience. Thank you to Tim and Kristen for the experience
