Let me first and foremost start out by saying that I am super obsessive when it comes to haunted houses and I love anything spooky. What I love the most about this there was the history involved. Our guide was so knowledgeable and interesting even though we had rain going on all around us and it’s already getting a little chilly he immediately within the first 10 to 15 minutes had us all captured. That we didn’t even think at all about the rain at that point. I was so focused on the history not even just the haunted stories that were behind it but just the amount that I learned about Asheville within those two hours was what me and my husband were so impressed with. Definitely would do it again!!! I love that he was no bull when it came as to what to expect. I liked that he first in formost came out stating that this was not some cheesy haunted house experience which I really appreciated. He kept the fun enjoyable entertaining and most importantly he kept it real! 5 ⭐️ Stars for sure!!!

Our tour guide Tad was so funny. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the city mixed with some of the spooky occurrences! I highly recommend doing this tour if you are looking for something different to do. It is not scary at all, so if that is what you are looking for, look elsewhere. If you are a fan of ghost hunters and enjoy stories of happenings, you will get it on this tour!! I would totally do it again!

We had a great time on this tour. My husband has never been on one like this and didn’t know what to do expect. I had taken one similar in New Orleans. Our guide, Brian did a wonderful job telling the history and keeping our attention. His passion for the city and stories came through and the group seemed to have a great time. I’ve see some bad reviews about the museum and the stories but don’t pay attention to those. They warn ya at the beginning calling it a museum is a stretch. It again goes along with the cheesy scary ghost tour goodness. The basement of the Masonic temple is creepy enough itself and the items just add to it. I would recommend and would do it again with some friends when we are back. 👻
