Atlanta Then and Now Private History Tour

On this private, guided tour we will dig into Atlanta's history while also looking ahead at where Atlanta is now and where the city is headed. Through exploring some areas such as city centers, historic neighborhoods, a national park, and a cemetery, we'll cover the founding of the city, the destruction of the city during The Civil War, rebuilding during Reconstruction, the Civil Rights movement and beyond. We'll also talk about some of the drivers of Atlanta's current boom. After this tour you'll have a good idea of where Atlanta came from and where it's headed.

This is such a great way to feel you’ve really gotten to know Atlanta through its stories and people and places. Chris is knowledgeable and kind and his affection for the city really shows. It really felt like a friend showing us around his home. Chris also has great recommendations for activities, places to eat, other things to see etc. I recommend this tour!
