Starting with positive- Guide Lisa was very friendly, the electric bikes were great, and the bike lanes felt very safe.
Sadly, the trip was way overpriced. Others in our group chose to buy their own food but we were not given that option when I called. It was $45 per person (for the food alone and didn't include drinks) and we didn't come anywhere CLOSE to spending that much. The 'foodie' title is a complete misnomer as the places chosen were very basic. Local friends were stunned when I told them the restaurants chosen.
So, overall, the biking aspect was fun, the 'foodie' part, not so much.

We are so sorry that you felt you did not receive a good food experience with your tour. Your review is very important to us and we want to learn from these experiences to be better at what we do. When booking online you have the option to pay for your food or not and yes that is the difference in price. We implemented this as a way to try to give a more affordable option. Our pricing includes gratuities for the restaurants as well. We do not get any kickbacks or deals with any restaurant we visit, only trade good service for good service. We work very hard to maintain our 5 star review and each review is important to us. We have very strict standards for choosing the places we go. What may seem very basic to one may not be for others. And restaurants as we all know have good and bad days, it happens, and we will review the places that you went to make sure they still meeting our standards of service and quality.
We want to learn from each riders experiences.
I wanted to let you know that we have made changes to our listings in hopes to alleviate any confusions for future bookings. Thank you for your review, we hope that you will please give us another chance in the future!
Sincerely
Faith Schexnayder
