My 11 year old son and I set out at 8am with Jason as our guide. He was so helpful and such a nice guy. The family with us was very nice, as well. He explained the operation of the Craigcats, which are very easy to pilot, then we set out through the 10,000 islands. We saw several dolphins feeding, and stopped on a private island for rest and shelling. You can find shells like these at your hotel.
On the way back, we saw more Dolphins, including a baby. We didn't see a manatee, but we did see a strange sight. There was a raccoon swimming between 2 islands a long distance apart. My son said it was the "rare Floridian aquatic raccoon". Jason informed us it's pretty common to see raccoons swimming in his tours.
Overall, this trip was absolutely wonderful and we'd definitely go again. Zooming around on the Craigcats was a lot of fun for me, the animals were a nice bonus.
