Middle Clear Creek is one of the greatest beginner rafting runs in the nation. With numerous rapids and historical significance, it is hard to deny the value. Although Clear Creek holds more rapids than most any other run in the US, the rapids of our Middle section are straight-forward and perfect for families with children or anyone else looking for something a bit easier. Rafters will also catch glimpses of Colorado's rich gold mining history and maybe even a miner or two as they splash down this unique stretch of whitewater.

We had a huge group of about 40 teens and adults - the guides at Downstream where professional and entertaining. We had a lot of laughs during the trip. The rapids themselves were great - rapid enough to thrill but not too scary. We all want to return for the intermediate tour! Listen to the guides and follow their instructions and you’ll do just fine. Thanks to our guide, Scottie, and all the others. Great experience!!

We went on this trip with our twin 7 years olds and 5 year old and it was a lot of fun! Our guide was knowledgeable about rafting and the area. Everyone had a great time. Would definitely recommend.
