We were able to go to a Farmers' Market and have guidance as to what was a good price for the food and what was fresh. Marta was very knowledgeable and knew who was a good source for different varieties of fresh food. We got to taste the food afterward and now know what to look for when we go shopping. Also got some good ideas on local eateries and places to buy fresh fish. Well worth the small cost.

We have been on food walking tours all over the world. This was unique because we spent quality time with the owners/chefs who make their food establishment terrific! From food trucks to the St Regis, it was all delightful and delicious! Our tour guide Michelle was born to do this kind of work! Our group was so much fun too because they shared our passion for all kinds of food. We also enjoyed touring a Farmers Market with founder, Marta. We met the local farmers and tasted all kinds of wonderful fruit not found on the mainland. Highly recommend both tours!!

There are many reviews that explain the event... so I won't write about the places. They were VERY good stops and unique experiences. Feel free to ask for more insider tips... Michele has them all. There is a lot of food. So do bring your cooler so that if you are full, you can have the dish wrapped to go. We did that and had enough food for the next day's breakfast and lunch! NO kidding. Of course you need to have a place to warm the food the next day. Take the tour early in your visit so that you can go back to the places--- guarantee you will want to do that! It seems like a pricey event, but it is well worth it. We did the south shore tour.
