This is a great way to get to visit Brooklyn, learn about it and experience it's food culture. Our tour guide Rick was warm, friend and funny and it was a pleasure for him to tell us about the history and culture around the area. The food was delicious (wish there was a little more of it!) And the coach was comfy, and cool.
I won't spoil any of the dishes (don't look at the photos if you want to keep them a surprise!) But they were all good and great to support the local business.
There wasn't as much walking involved as I'd expected, each stop was a very short walk then it was back on the bus to the next. You have the choice at the end to walk the Brooklyn bridge, but taking that out you'd probably only cover 1-2 miles on foot. We set off around 11am and finished up around 15:30 to walk back over the bridge.
The price is a little more than some of the other food tours, but you cover a great deal of miles on the bus which I guess is where most of the expenses goes.
A great day out if you like your food and want to get to know the city.
