I was looking for something different to do during this visit to New York, and I’ve been there maybe ten times, so I’d seen all the usual tourist standards. This filled the bill. I had not been to Brooklyn before, and didn’t know where to start. This was a small group on a small bus, very nice people, and the guide gave us just enough background information without being pedantic. The food was more basic than it was gourmet - pizza, falafel, pierogi, kielbasa, cannoli, and chocolate, but there were good versions of each. I learned something about the neighborhoods of Brooklyn, and had an enjoyable day.
