She was just a history and fact juggernaut. All of the areas were fun and the food was amazing! I had so much fun! As a single female traveling alone, she made the city feel accessible. All of the details of the different cities within the City A+. A filling and diverse palette of food!
We loved this. Tour guide was awesome. Perfect for a rainy day. I wish they offered more versions of this or say an Italian Bronx or more tours in Brooklyn. Alyssa From Rochester, Mercy Alum, NYU alum was lovely as was Jerome the driver. The van was so comfortable. Maybe we could have paused a moment here or there while driving to grab a photo but all the stops were great. I liked it when the owners talked a bit. I preferred the more old Brooklyn rather than the gentrified Brooklyn ones but really it was all wonderful. The Polish restaurant was crazy generous with food - wow. The tips from historic to current times in NY were all great. I lived in Brooklyn but none of the areas we toured and I still learned a lot. Our ten year old was a bit bored in the middle but he turned it around -especially when we had time to crawl on the rocks and see the shore in DUMBO. This is a first class experience. I have already shared the tour details with others. We specifically picked this tour because it offered the van and it was a rainy day. Glad we did. If you have someone in your group who only can eat small amounts bring a container for leftovers.
First time I have ever done something like this and would highly recommend. The guide was great. Very knowledgeable of the area. Bus was clean and well maintained. Well worth the money.
