Rick the guide was great. To much time on bus, and not enough walking thru the neighborhoods
Our group ranged in ages from 10 years old to 80 years old, and everyone loved the trip. Both the cultural pieces and the food stops were made interesting and engaging by our indefatigable guide Rick. Talk about a Brooklyn booster! Given the logistics of getting 23 people to Brooklyn, and then from place to place within Brooklyn, seated in restaurants, eating on time, etc., I'm amazed how smoothly everything went.
I took this tour with my son and we were very impressed. There was so much packed in this tour. We met in Greenwich Village, boarded a very nice comfortable medium bus and drove to Brooklyn. Lori our guide was very nice with a wealth of knowledge about historical facts varies cultures and the fabulous food. The food was delicious. We had the best meatballs, then went to a place to have excellent desert and very good pizza. that was just some of the food. We drove around Brooklyn and saw local people and learned about varies cultures. We saw local art work on buildings and the history behind the art. We drove by older homes that still had stairs and lawns. We then went to the Brooklyn Bridge were we took pictures before the tour ended. We were given a choice to go back to our starting point on the bus or walk across the bridge to NY. Every one in our tour decided to walk across the bridge. The walk across the bridge was fantastic. We took lots of pictures. It was a very nice at your own pace walk. The end of the bridge was at Central Park. We had a hop on hop off bus pass. We took the bus to Times Square. This was a fun well packed tour I loved it.
