On our trip to Philadelphia, we were most interested in deepening our knowledge of U.S. history through a more well-rounded perspective than what we learned growing up. We found that in Beyond the Bell. Joe did a great job of explaining the significance of different sites while challenging us to think critically about perspectives that were represented and those that were not. My husband, 11-year-old stepson, and I enjoyed the tour equally well. Despite the brutal heat that we endured during the tour, it was definitely the highlight of our trip. I highly recommend it.

This was a great tour! Rebecca is a wonderful story-teller. We learned so much in a fun and relaxed setting. It was our first trip to Philadelphia, and it made the trip so much more interesting to learn about the history from a pro. My 16-year-old son was with us. He's not very interested in history, but even he said it was awesome!!
