What was great in dan Francisco is just not enough in LA. When you start in Santa Monica, Blue- and Red-Line are not really possible in one day with even one break stop. The first tour starts too late in the morning and the last trip starts too early. The buses only come every 30-40 min and the tracking of the buses did not work. For a family (2 adults / 1 child) you pay 142 USD for the day ticket, price and service vary widely.

To be carefully avoided, wait under the sun for hours. There is no number to contact and no one to warn you of possible problems.

There was only one bus per road, therefore the bus took more than 1 hour to return, also the app did not work and there was no way to know what time the next bus would be.
