Martin Luther King Memorial was wonderful - tour was good, bus was timely - purchased a two day pass and still had more to see - great experience

The bus itself is fun. Was able to see lots. However, COVID has been around for over a year and I paid for the DELUXE ticket to include a night tour, RED, and BLUE line. They don't tell you that the night tour are only on certain dates and that the BLUE line is NOT running! If I knew that I would have only paid for the one day tour. I should have half my money returned.

We are sorry for your experience. It sounds like you got a hold of wrong info somewhere. We only operate our Night Tours on Thursday-Sunday which is clearly outlined on the Big Bus Tours app and website. Additionally our Blue shuttle to Arlington is active and stops into the cemetery everyday, every 20-30 minutes, beginning at 10:33 am and ending at 4:33 pm. I took my family to Washington DC in June 2021. Before arriving I purchased tickets for the big bus hop on hop off tour as I wanted to try and pack in as much as possible with only one day in DC. Upon arrival at the address listed on the email, we had to ask multiple people to try and find where the ticket station was. There were no signs and this was very confusing and a bit frustrating as we wanted to get started on the tour and not missed the bus. Upon finally arriving at the correct location the representatives were very friendly and very helpful in printing out our actual tickets. They were jovial and happy and this brightened our mood from the lack of guidance to actually find the bus station. The tour itself was pretty good, we were able to set up top and were provided with headphones and we were able to listen to all the commentary without issue. The bus traveled at a reasonable speed and did a good job of maneuvering through very busy traffic in DC. The only main issue is that there was a bunch of road closures and the bus had to take many detours in order to get back to the main location where we started and could get back to our car. This added an extra 45 minutes to the original tour of 90 minutes, which was frustrating but not the fault of the big bus company. Overall I feel that this is a good tour for those who want to see all the main attractions in DC and can jump on and off every 30 minutes or so. Would recommend

Thank you for the honest feedback! We are so happy that you enjoyed the tour. We appreciate the way in which you explained the road closure experience. We are sorry that it took you such a struggle to find our stop. We have recently placed more street directional signs near our stop 1. It can be difficult because our stop is located on the upper plaza level of a two level streetscape. We are located directly next door to the International Spy Museum. Guests can also download the Big Bus Tours app, enable location finder, and it should direct the guest to the nearest stop.
