Very good way to get around the City & see all the obvious places in a couple of days also the added extras are very good as well.

This tour is a joke. You are lucky if you can actually find a bus stop for this tour bus. We paid $50.00 each for this tour and then could it find a bus from this company to ride. We did eventually find a stop after walking for an hour and a half. I was not impressed. It was just a $50 place to rest my feet.

Well it beats walking I suppose. Have you ever wondered what it was like to be a rotisserie chicken? Or what it’s like to roll around in a moving oven? Broiled nicely on the top in the sun? Slowly cooking from the inside out inside the bus oven? Then by all means entertain your curiosity. We tried to get on the bus at the national archives station but ran into a little bit of trouble at first. The bus driver had to process our Washington go tickets from off of our iPhones and a little ticket machine he was using ran out of paper to which he said “F...k”. We stood there for over 10 minutes while he had to figure it out and in the meantime people were baking on the top of the bus. The tour guide came down the steps of the double decker bus and gave us a dirty look. We got off at the next stop which was Union Station and pondered whether we could can get a train to travel easier with in the city. We decided to get on a different bus thinking that maybe the air-conditioning just wasn’t working correctly in that particular bus. But as you can guess that was not the case. We tried the little earphones to see if we could hear anything of value from inside the bus about the sites outside of our window but we could barely see out of them. The woman speaking sounded like an angry Charlie Brown’s teacher. We got off at the Warf and then Ubered our way around the city until we got to the metro and took a delightful air-conditioned subway train ride back to our hotel. Then a very cold shower.
