This big bus tour was awful. We bought our tickets and got on this bus. It was like a death trap. No AC on windows could not be opened. The bus driver had AC blowing hard on him. People we asking for air not one thing he would do. Some riders almost passed out. And also their audio system wasn't working either. We tired to contact the higher ups, to get a refund. But NOTHIN G, all they say read our rules. This was an awful experience. No one to come to your aide. They let people off finally without any help. This was the hottest day on DC. They didnt care one bit they knew the AC was out and the audio.

Washington DC Wrong Hop-On-Hop-Off 706181148 They were never on time.They DO NOT arrive at their stops every 15 to 20 minutes. More like 45 - 60 min. No air in the lower half of the buses & windows don't open for air. Driver was more interested in his street vendor buddy selling water on board at the Space Museum than getting us to our next stop. Only a couple of narrators were on board during our three day ride. Use the other companies because they appeared at their stops every 15 to 20 minutes. We would NOT recommend this company at all.

As one of the most historically significant cities in North America, it is critical to hear the stories and anecdotes behind the development and evolution of Washington, DC, and both Nur and Tom Thompson accomplished that feat with wit, intelligence, and infectious enthusiasm. Their narration is NOT to be missed, and was a highlight of our visit! Friendly hint...should you wind up with the young woman whose idea of being a guide was to continually scold the passengers to sit and keep their hands inside the bus, to the exclusion of sharing any significant historical information, simply hop off and wait for Nur or Tom on the next bus - it will be worth it!!
