There is Zero AC on these buses. It’s the middle of summer and there are some stops, like Union Station, where the bus shuts off the engine and everyone inside just bakes in the bus and can barely breathe. It was miserable, and at $50 per ticket, I expect either AC, or the windows need to be open. There was ONE window on the bus that was open. We wanted OFF that bus so bad, but I wanted to get my moneys worth too. We moved to the top of the bus which was better but it was really too hot to stay up there too long. The staff was friendly but had minimal information about each site so it wasn’t very informative.
Save your money and take the regular city bus and subways. We chose to ride rental bikes the rest of the way back; over 5 miles; I could not get back on that bus!
