Very disappointed in this service. Purchased four 2-day tickets through the Viator app on Friday evening for use on the Saturday and Sunday before Memorial Day. Viator app did not provide notice that the bus service would be very limited over the holiday weekend. Sunday was told by the bus company that the service would resume regular after the rolling thunder event ended at 4 pm; however, later was told that would not occur. Bus app did not provide good directions for locating bus stops. We had to rearrange our plans on Saturday and all we got out of this was a trip to Arlington cemetery and drop off at the White House. Uber and Lyft would have been much better options. In addition, the recording provided on the bus was very poor quality. The tapes would stop mid sentence and then return to music or silence. Not a good experience and a complete waste of money!!!

I was really lucky enough to find an amazing tour guide by the name of Cassie. She described everything and gave amazing suggestions on where to go where to eat she was very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about Washington

I chose this bus company since it was part of the DC Explorer Go Pass. While the pass was great, this tour was not. After 30 minutes of waiting for a pick-up, we called the company and were told that the bus pick-up location moved that day to another spot. One would think that information would be communicated through the Big Bus app that I was actively using! We walked to the new location and still waited over 30 minutes for the bus to come - and that was after calling the company multiple times. During that time, we saw a competitor's bus come three times - THREE!!! The delay meant that we didn't get to visit all the locations we hoped to see. The customer service was extremely rude, tour guides were disinterested, and the boarding process is unorganized. Additionally, the buses are old, dirty, and uncomfortable. I will say the night tour from this company was pretty good, but avoid the hop-on, hop-off bus at all costs. I should have listened to the reviews!
