One hundred days of underground and fissure eruptions, make this the most exciting attraction on Hawaii Island. "Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is on Hawaii Island (the Big Island). At its heart are the Kīlauea and Mauna Loa active volcanoes. The Crater Rim Drive passes steam vents and the Jaggar Museum, which features volcanology exhibits and a viewpoint overlooking Halema'uma'u Crater. Thick ferns mark the entrance to the Thurston Lava Tube (Nāhuku). The Chain of Craters Road weaves over lava. Trails crisscross the park."

Shelby was very knowledgeable and was able to accommodate a special request of mine. Her driving was excellent and the Mercedes coach was very comfortable. There were snacks on board as well as rain coats, umbrellas, blankets. You need something? Shelby’s got it. We also stopped at a lava tube and winery. I highly recommend Shelby as a tour guide!

Great trip. Lots of great sights. Dave, our guide was very knowledgeable of Hawai'ian history and told us many stories. Great refreshments on the van. We all had a great time. The Halo candy store, volcano and the Rainbow falls were fantastic.
