An excellent day ! Learned about coffee , saw a volcano , walked down a lava tube , saw green turtles basking on a black sand beach , beautiful waterfalls and landscapes. Brett , our tour guide was very knowledgeable and even serenaded us with his ukulele during lunch . It was a long exhausting day but it would have taken 2-3 days if we tried to do it on our own !
Thank you Brett

Our guide/driver was Alana. My partner and I told her early on that she was driving way too fast especially around the curves, which there were alot on the big island. Alana waited til all the other passengers got on the tour bus then said she had complaints about her driving. She then threw a tantrum by driving way slow which was fine by me at least I didn't think we were going to fly off the road. This only lasted a short time before she was right back to flying around the curves and driving in the oncoming lane to avoid hitting 2 cyclists. I then told her to please slow down around the curves she has 13 peoples lives in her hands. We have been on numerous tours and she is the worst driver. She then pulls over bus half in the driving lane, turns off the bus and walks away. We all had to get out so we didn't get killed if a vehicle slammed into us right out of a curve going uphill. After about 20 minutes she comes back and acts like nothing happened. She continued to drive like a crazy person and as I did not want to end my life that day because of Alana, my partner and I skipped the last stop and walked the 1 hour(driving) back to our car. There was no taxi, no uber, no lift in that area plus no phone service. This tour totally sucked.

Hello Keith,
We are disappointed to see your review as it's certainly exaggerated regarding Alana's driving. The reason she pulled over was because your party was verbally abusive toward her and other guests and she felt it was necessary to stop the vehicle to ensure the safety of all the guests.
All of our vans' speed and locations are tracked with onboard GPS. The driving log indicated that she was operating the vehicle within the speed limit. In fact, we were able to get written statements from all of the other ten guests on board to testify that she operated the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner throughout the day.
We were puzzled that your party voluntarily left the tour at the last stop, but your adult son decided to stay in the van and rode back with the other guests.
The safety of our guests is our utmost priority and our perfect safety record and thousands of excellent reviews demonstrate our commitment to the highest standards in the industry.
