During this approx 2 -hour snorkeling tour with a knowledgeable guide, watch these extraordinary creatures feed on plentiful plankton attracted by underwater lights. With wingspans that can reach more than 20 feet (6 meters) across, manta rays have no teeth or barb on the tail. The experience was lacking, crew were unprofessional- Do not recommend this particular service . Definitely do not pay to join smaller group.

This was indeed one of our most memorable parts of our trip. We liked the intimacy and attention we got with a small boat for our party of 14. I was worried about how it would go with 6 energetic kids, but Buddha was experienced and great with our kids. He was able to calm our kids down and get them to listen to what we had to know before we jumped in the water. We got a chance to see so many manta rays up close - it was mind-blowing and humbling. I highly recommend C Big Island Tours for your manta ray snorkeling experience.

Trevor, Diego, and Tamae were an amazing crew! I'm not a strong swimmer so they helped me get in and out of the boat. I recommend doing the later session. There were at most 5 boats around so we didn't have to share our mantas with any other tour groups. The mantas really swim as close as they can to you!
