During this approx 2 -hour snorkeling tour with a knowledgeable guide, watch these extraordinary creatures feed on plentiful plankton attracted by underwater lights. With wingspans that can reach more than 20 feet (6 meters) across, manta rays have no teeth or barb on the tail. I received a faulty snorkeling mask, and ate a lot of water while swimming out to the float. The guide that came to help asked me to stop kicking away the plankton. Overall bad service, dry humour got old fast.

Aloha Brian, I am so sorry to hear about your experience and will bring this attention to the crew. If you ever get a bad snorkel please let us know so that we can get it changed out for you. Yes, we usually ask guests not to kick and to lay flat as possible because the manta rays can also get accidentally kicked.

What an unforgettable experience! Their Manta Ray Nighttime Snrokel was my favorite part of my entire Hawaii trip, if you have the money and time please do this!! Captain Lena, Scott, Daniel, and Trenton (I hope those are the right names, they deserve a shoutout) did an amazing job. They were funny, educational, and made everyone feel super comfortable in the water (even the kiddos and non-confident adults). I couldn't be more impressed with the crew and with the breathtaking experience in the water; sometimes just inches away from mantas.

This was amazing! We saw at least 7 mantas at once! Can’t wait to do it again some day! They were so nice, they didn’t rush us, and they were very knowledgeable about the mantas!
