Botanical World's Zip Line is the most exciting zipline in Hawaii and possibly the world. With 8 lines gradually building to the last two that are dual side-by-side zips to share with a friend. The Grand Finale is over a huge 330 foot (100 meter) gorge with a 250 foot (76 meters) waterfall. Our Zip Isle zip Line Adventure is the longest operating zip line on the Big Island operating since 2009 with an unblemished safety record. With each of the 8 zip lines the excitement builds as the lines get longer as you continue to be thrilled. The amazing views from the suspension bridge will give a story to tell of true Hawaii as you pass the HUGE mango tree hundreds of years old that may have seen Kamehameha walking along the rapids of the stream gorge below. Your guides share the many secrets of the plants, let you taste fruits and spices and relay the history of this unique setting in the rain forest.

I chose Botanical World’s zipline because our group of five people included two seniors. My mom was 78 and my aunt was 80. The information on the web site gave examples of guests with serious mobility issues that were able to zipline there. My mom’s leg can go numb at any time requiring her to sit for a couple of minutes before continuing to walk. We explained her condition and were told that the guides would help her and they did. Scott and the other guides gave extra attention to my mom every step of the tour. The first example was when they showed us a short easy walk that allowed her to skip the suspension bridge and rejoin the group. Another example was when they allowed her to skip the final zipline because of the steps to the tower. They drove her to where the final zipline ends so she could see the waterfall. I’ve ziplined over some beautiful waterfalls, but, I liked this one best especially the close up view from the zipline.

Wow, so much fun! I was a little nervous, but the guides made me feel so comfortable. Each zip line got a bit longer and more daunting, but it happened so gradually I lost all my fear. I felt completely safe. I also loved the games we played and the education about the beautiful trees we saw on the trail. I highly recommend!

This was hands down one of the best excursions I’ve ever been on. The scenery was breathtaking, and our guides were not only incredibly knowledgeable but also hilarious! The zip lines offer the perfect mix of excitement for all ages and adventure levels. We were lucky to have Justin, Tryson, and Echo leading the way—they made the experience unforgettable!
