Big Sur is a must tour, and it is a must to go with these folks. Ask for Carlos! He was our guide and I have never seen such a nice and professional guide. No rush, a lot of patience and enthusiasm. We were so delighted not only to spend our day in Big Sur, but also to hang out with Carlos!

I booked this trip for my family and everyone had a great time. The communication with the organizers and Carlos-our driver was seamless. Our transportation was comfortable and Carlos was an excellent guide. The itinerary is totally worth it. Although I had previously seen parts of Highway 1, there were many view points I had never seen or heard of before. It was a beautiful day and I am glad I made a choice to opt for this trip. Carlos picked us up from our Inn and dropped us back. I highly recommend this trip for everyone planning to explore the gorgeous highway 1 in Cali!

We have booked this trip from San Jose to LA with Christina and Ben from California Pacific Excursions, who organised everything perfectly. Part of the trip is done by car and part of the trip is done by train. We had a super time with Carlos as our driver and we tremendously enjoyed the whole trip. It was definately one of the highlights of our stay in California. We especially loved the drive from Monterey to the McWay Falls and back (with several stops inbetween) and also our stay in Carmel which we found to be the cutest little town with the nicest beach ever. With hindsight we would have probably preferred to stay in Carmel for another night rather than two nights in Santa Barbara (but this is personal preference). Carlos was so very nice and patient with us and he also is a very good driver, so we felt very safe during any time of the trip with him. The car is also very spacious and comfortable! The train trips with Amtrak from Salinas to Santa Barbara and two days later from there down to LA were also great fun and the views from the train are amazing. We were very glad that we chose California Pacific Excursions to organise everything for us and we would like to thank them again for all their good work!

It was very nice to create a custom trip for you. The Big Sur car segment by Carlos is the highlight on Highway One. Carmel stay should be for two nights. The Coast Starlight train is very enjoyable and unique going along the restricted shoreline by Santa Barbara. Thank you very much for sharing the beautiful photos. Best Regards, Ben
