It is the clients SOLELY responsibility to have all the required documentation to exit and re-enter the United States. Gray Line Miami is not responsible if Immigration services do not allow passengers onboard due to lack of documentation. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GRANTED DUE TO LACK OF PAPERWORK. Gray Line Miami is NOT responsible for delays caused by weather or by the Bahamian Coast Guard or Immigration services upon arrival at Bahamas.
It is also important to know: • Please pay attention to your specific departure time. In all of our terminals check in starts 3 hours before departure. Boarding doors close one hour before departure (no exceptions). • Allow at least one hour for vessel clearance by local and federal authorities. That means when the ferry arrives to any of our ports (The Bahamas or USA) you might have to wait for clearance to be able to debark. The time is based on authorities’ regulations, not the carrier’s.
The Vessel goes into dry dock every January. General mechanical maintenance is performed and upgrades as needed on the interior of the vessel.
When purchasing a Hotel day pass oboard the vessel, beach access is not available if the hotel is hosting a cruise group

So, my family and I booked premium because we were traveling with a baby. Outside of being the first group to board and disembark, that was the only plus. The boat is older. The perks of charging your phone and a snack is just game for charging you extra. The charging ports don’t work and the ‘snack’ is a bottle of water with a half sandwich with a pork based meat. The island is gorgeous. The trip does not include a day pass to the Hilton, that is separate. Also, you will not have access to the beach if the cruise line has booked it for the day- which is what happened our first day. Since we did an overnight, we got to enjoy it the next morning. The return ride was shorter but we had flickering lights, no AC and the TVs went out half way through the trip. There was no AC in the port, the CBP self clearance system was down so a few hundred people had to wait for a few officers to clear us. The security guards at the port were unprofessional and looked bothered all the time.
