This is one Florida experience you do not want to miss! What makes this amazing is that the protected wetlands around the area we launch our kayaks has almost no light pollution. This make for amazing visibility of the bioluminescence.

As my 8 yo said, "When we got in the raft, I thought it was going to be a nature talk, but it turned into a lot of jellyfish fun!" As a Floridian, we had no idea this existed, but it was magical and Leo (our guide) was great!

What an incredible experience! Not only did we experience the bioluminescence at varying levels of brightness, but we also got to see and hear dolphins nearby while on our tour. Kamary was a patient, gracious guide with our group, which included younger children and adults with zero rafting experience. Definitely don’t let not knowing how you’ll do hold you back! We learned more about the local area, NASA center, and the flora and fauna within the wildlife refuge. It was evident that our guide was passionate about the area, wildlife, and giving tours, which really added to our time. So cool to be able to be on the refuge after hours and look out for nocturnal animals. Only downside is that the bugs are definitely present and aggressive. My recommendation is long sleeves and pants, socks and shoes or boots and make sure to bring a strong bug spray with you. Better to be hot than bit up.

My husband and I crossed this off our bucket list tonight. From the beginning to the end the tour guides, Brooke, Gavin and Faith were friendly and helpful always making sure everyone was good and could have a great experience. Saw many different birds along the way to see the manatees and dolphins. So cool to ha e them be right next to your kayak. Nothing like being on the water watching the spectacular sunset!!! The icing on the cake was the bioluminescent tour after. They were very knowledgeable about it. I recommend this tour to all ages!!! Can't emphasize enough to.douse yourself in bug spray and wear long sleeves and long pants!
