Great to to hear about civil rights historical events while standing right where it all happened. Tour took us to the main civil rights sites but also to some less well known places we would not have gone to ourselves. We were impressed that Clay chose to come back to Alabama to lead this well researched tour.

If you are visiting Birmingham, you must not miss the Red Clay Civil Rights Tour . It was a fantastic experience. The tour was very informative, dynamic and well presented. The presentation was so detailed and complete. So much information, telling it as it happened. You can tell that Clay has done an extensive research on the subject of civil rights and he presents the material superbly. I enjoyed every moment, as we stopped at various locations that were historically important. I highly recommend this tour. It should be on top of your most important "things to do" in Birmingham.

Yoram, We're glad you visited Birmingham and gave Red Clay Tours a chance. We had an amazing time on the Civil Rights tour with you and learning about your family. This was easily one of the best tours we have had to the pleasure of doing. It was our pleasure to show you around Birmingham and can't wait to show your family around when y'all come back. Thanks, Clay

Clay was great to work with from the start. We had a group of 15 people and wanted to do the Fight For Rights Tour, but also incorporate the BBQ Tasting to make the tour a full day tour. Clay organised a larger bus and driver to accommodate the group size, and tailored the tour to work within the group requirements. The Fight For Rights Tour is fantastic! Clay is extremely knowledgeable, it reflects how much research he has done and visiting some of the historical land marks around Birmingham is very interesting. We had a ‘guest appearance’ (not planned) from a local Birmingham gent who was around during the bombings, and still lives in the area today, he too was impressed with Clays knowledge of the events that transpired. Finishing the day off with three stops at the best BBQ places around Birmingham is well worth it, we didn’t need dinner that night! It also enabled us to do a little more sightseeing enroute to each BBQ stop along the way. Clay is so easy to work with, if you only have a few people or a larger group nothing is too much trouble, it makes the whole experience stress free and the day a real pleasure. Thanks Clay! see you next time.

Hey Melanie, We had a great time showing y'all around the city. Everyone was so nice, pleasant, and wonderful to talk to. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the BBQ even if it was a little different from Australia. I enjoyed the opportunity to share a bit of the history of Civil Rights in Birmingham with y'all and appreciate that y'all put a focus on learning while here, not just on sightseeing. I look forward seeing y'all again in the future. Thanks, Clay
