Very interesting history from our guide, Mike, who grew up in the area. You’ll get about 100 years of history in 3 hours, some walking and some on a bus. You’ll be in some downtrodden neighborhoods, but we felt safe. No mask required outside, required on the bus. I look at Birmingham in a whole new light as a part of the civil rights movements, thanks to this tour.

An ABSOLUTE MUST! We met Mike and had a GREAT tour learning in more details about the Civil Rights Movement in Birmingham as well as history of Birmingham intertwined with this. The information was significant in having a better understanding. The detail was great. Certainly one of the best tours we have taken. We had a number of questions which Mike was more than happy to answer. Given he had grown up in the area, he was able to give us personal account of what was going on in the city. Wished we were staying longer because we would not hesitate to take more tours with Red Clay Tours.
