Our daytime historic tour is a story of Pirates and Puritans, Witchcraft and War. We travel around the city of Salem and share the tales of its amazing history. From its humble beginnings as a city founded on the idea of peace for all, to the site of the largest incident of witchcraft hysteria in the modern world, learn how it became one of the biggest shipping ports in America, played host to some of the most famous authors of all time, and learn some of the biggest secrets this city has to offer!

Our daytime walking tour lasts about an hour and forty five minutes, and covers a mile's worth of the downtown area. It is an easy walk, but we suggest comfortable shoes and clothing to match the season. Our tours are unscripted, and can be customized to every group's particular areas of interest!

This tour was awesome! We had Daniel as our tour guide. A great mix of witch lore & other Salem history such as Nathaniel Hawthorne, the Peabody sisters, and National Guard

We loved our historical tour with Black Cat. Jeremiah was our guide and he was detailed and thorough with knowledge. We cannot recommend this tour enough, it was fantastic!

We had a fabulous experience during our historical tour. It was quite crowded in Salem on the day we visited but it was to be expected. The tour met promptly at the meeting spot and our tour guide was quite knowledgeable and very engaging.
