This tour very much depends on who your tour guide is. Our guide told us right away that our tour would last up to 2 hours, even though it was advertised as an hour and a half. We did take many interesting stops but our guide kept telling stories filled with minute details. Although each of these stories might be interesting in their own right, on a 90 degree day they were very hard to follow. Shorter, to the point stories would be better for the tour. At the 2 hour mark we had to leave, so it actually went longer. A majority of people left the tour early.

Our tour guide, Jeremiah, was fantastic. He kept my 8yo engaged throughout the tour. My 12yo is a bug history buff and she really enjoyed the stories told. His personality helped lighten the mood as we did the tour in the rain. I would do this tour again. The 90 minute tour was great for the kid’s ages.
